Tonya G. (Miller) Barnard, 57, of Linton, IN passed away at 8:05 A.M. Monday, October 4, 2021 in her home.

She was born August 2, 1964 in Terre Haute, IN to Norman L. "Nippy" Miller and Martha E. (Johnson) Keller.

Tonya married Larry A. Barnard on September 15, 2012; he passed away September 22, 2019.

Survivors include her children, Justin Alsman (Sarah) of Washington, IN, Dustin Alsman of Linton, IN, Russell Alsman of Sullivan, IN; 9 grandchildren; siblings, Gary Miller (Cindy) of Center Point, IN, Jay Miller of Jasonville, IN, Tammy Burkett (Keith) of Jasonville, IN; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; stepparents, Kenneth Keller and Betty "Annie" Kirk; husband; daughter, Stacy Alsman; grandson, Dalton Alsman.

Tonya spent her early years in Jasonville where she attended Shakamak High School and later graduated. She loved her children, grandchildren and her dogs.

Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, IN. Visitation is scheduled from 10 to 11 A.M. Monday, October 11, 2021 at the funeral home. Funeral services are immediately following at 11 A.M with Pastor David Tyra officiating. Interment will be at Peavey Cemetery in Howesville, IN.
