Tommy Lou Brosche Obituary
Terre Haute, Indiana - Tommy Lou Brosche, 92, of Terre Haute, passed away on Friday, Nov. 9, 2018, at Union Hospital. She was born Dec. 31, 1925, in Terre Haute, to Oliver Andrew Brown and Stella Hazel (Trump) Brown.
Tommy is survived by her nieces and nephews, Elizabeth Roxanne Eatinger and husband Wayne of Thedford, Neb., David Allen Schmidt of Taft, Texas, Monte Brown and wife Terre of Trafalgar, Ind., Robert Brown and wife Julie of Rosedale, Mary Fuller and husband Jerry of McKinney, Texas; several great-nephews; great-great-nieces and nephews; friends that were more like family, Stacey Senseman and her daughter Megan; and lifelong best friend, Linn Michaels.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jim Brosche; a brother, Perry Oliver Brown; and sisters, Lilly Rosemary Schmidt and Patricia Ann Brown.
Tommy Lou retired from Kroger after 42 years of service as head cashier. She was an avid, outstanding bowler. She carried the highest bowling average among all of the female bowlers at that time. She was inducted into the Bowler's Hall of Fame. Tommy Lou also loved to play poker and bingo.
Visitation will be held from 2 until 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2018, at Roselawn Funeral Home. Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home, with Father Martin Day officiating. Tommy Lou will be laid to rest in Roselawn Memorial Park.
