FARMERSBURG - Todd Andrew Thomson, 58, of Farmersburg, passed from this life on April 23, 2016, following a lengthy and noble battle with cancer.

Todd was born to Jack Thomson and Betty Esra Thomson on July 20, 1957, in Sullivan, In. He was a 1975 graduate of North Central High School and was employed by DuPont, formerly by Pfizer and Danisco. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, as well as a dedicated son, father, and grandfather.

Survivors include his mother, Betty Thomson of Farmersburg; two daughters, Tara Thomson of Terre Haute and Lindsay (and Chris) Heagy of Indianapolis; one brother, David (and Carla) Thomson of Terre Haute; one sister, Sue Ann (and Rodney) Kinderdine of Paris, Ill.; and two grandchildren, Ascher McCullough and Evelyn Heagy. He is also survived by three nieces (Brooke, Rachel and Sarah) and two nephews (Shane and Josh), along with several cousins and extended family members, as well as many friends.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Per his wishes, cremation has been chosen, and no funeral services are planned at this time. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
