TERRE HAUTE - Thomas Roland Reed, 90, of Terre Haute, passed away on Sunday, February 20, 2022, at Westminster Village, with his son by his side. He was born on July 18, 1931, in West Terre Haute to James L. and Mabel (Flint) Reed.

Thomas is survived by his son, Thomas Randal Reed and wife Geraldine of Oxford, MI; and grandson, Thomas Richard Reed of Royal Oak, MI.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Joan Lee Reed; brother, Charlie Reed; and sister, Sarah Lou Blair.

Thomas proudly served in the United States Army Corps of Engineers in the Korean War. He worked as the Data Processing Manager at Weston Paper for over 25 years.

He was a Mason for over 50 years. Thomas enjoyed woodworking and photography in his spare time. He and Joan enjoyed crafting and working around the house together. When his son was young, Thomas coached Little League and was a Band Booster for Terre Haute North.

A kind, intelligent man with a dry sense of humor, Thomas enjoyed his life and family, making the most out of every day and every situation. He was the best dad anyone could ever ask for.
