Terre Haute, IN - TERRE HAUTE - Thomas Cooper was born on September 18, 1946 in Corpus Christi, TX to Tom and Margret Cooper. Tom married Sharon Earley on July 16, 1966.
He is survived by his wife; his two children Dave (Samantha) and Tom (Anna) Cooper; and seven grandchildren: Tom, Lucas, David, Nicholas, Alaina, Ethan, and Joey.
Tom worked for Kroger for 33 years as a store manager. After he retired from Kroger, he worked for Gibault Children's Services as a dorm supervisor.
Tom enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas with his loving wife. He also enjoyed playing poker at the Terre Haute Casino with his poker pals.
In lieu of a viewing or funeral service, there will be a Celebration of Life on May 9, 2026 from 2 to 5 pm at 9637 South Armstrong Place, Terre Haute IN 47802.
