Terre Haute, Indiana - TERRE HAUTE - Theresa C. Wellman, 52, of Terre Haute, passed away in her home on Thursday, June 19, 2025.

She was born on April 5, 1973 in Vigo County to Zury Taylor Wellman and Catherine Rose Wrin.

Theresa attended St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sullivan. She enjoyed many activities and memberships, including bowling in the Special Olympics, Happiness Bag, and spending time at RDS Day Service. Things she loved were dancing, Hello Kitty, the Indianapolis Colts, and Cubs baseball.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her uncle, Jerry Wrin.

Theresa is survived by her aunts, Ann Deckard, Mary Jane Willoughby, and Ceil Neumann; uncles, Don Wrin (Jan) and John Wrin (Jeannette); and cousins, Ellen Wrin-Herron (Matt) and Beth (Wrin) Faust (Joe); as well as many other cousins.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 N 3rd Street, West Terre Haute, Indiana; with visitation from 11:00 a.m. until service time. Rosary will be at 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park.

The family welcomes memorial contributions to the Special Olympics, in lieu of flowers. A heartfelt thank-you to Rescare for their exceptional kindness and care.
