TERRE HAUTE - Terry Gene Winn, 74, of Terre Haute, passed away on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at Gibson Center for Hospice. He was born on July 29, 1947, in Terre Haute, to Paul E. and Mary Jane (Hoffman) Winn.

Terry is survived by his children, Vikki Hay of Hymera, Christina Winn Hall of Linton, and Gene Oran Winn of Fontanet; siblings, Paula Wagle of Brazil, Richard Winn of Terre Haute, Connie Patat of Brazil, and Carol Bridges of Georgia; several grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and several nieces and nephews.

Terry served in the United States Army in the Vietnam War. He enjoyed having a good time with his family and friends. He was always thinking of others. Terry loved puzzle books and Westerns. He will be missed.

A graveside service with military honors will take place on Wednesday, September 22, at 10 a.m. in Roselawn Memorial Park with Pastor Larry Lilly officiating. Mattox-Wood Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at:
