Stephen Edward Lidster (Stevie) Obituary
Terre Haute, Indiana - Stephen Edward Lidster (Stevie) passed away June 14th, 2026, at the age of 76. Born to Eugene (father), Lucille (Rohem) Lidster. After his mother passed at a very young age, Helen Rohem, his aunt, dedicated her life to raising Steve and his brothers.
In his early years he attended Saint Margaret Mary's. Later he graduated from Wiley High School. He then went on to the Air National Guard and studied refrigeration and heating Following the service, he became a proud member of the Plumbers & Steamfitters Local #157. Later her retired from steamfitters at Eli Lily. He dedicated many years to his trade.
Outside of work, Steve embraced his life with enthusiasm. He enjoyed fishing, golfing and playing pool with his friend Dennis Coffman.
He was also a talented musician; you would find him playing the piano or guitar, sharing his love of music with those around him.
He was survived by his wife of 40 years, Anita (Pershing) Lidster; one son of Georgia Ryan Lidster; also two grandons Aiden Lidster, Isaac Lidster from Georgia; brothers Richard Lidster and wife Barbra of Terre Haute, Michael Lidster and wife Caren of Terre Haute; and two brothers-in-law Terry and wife Svetlana Pershing, Steven and wife Lisa Pershing; one sister-in-law Marilyn (Pershing) Horsley and her husband James (Jim) Horsley.
He was preceded in death by his father Eugene (Gene) Lidster, mother Lucille (Rohem) Lidster, aunt Helen Rohem, brothers David (Rusty) Lidster, Fredrick (Freddy) Lidster.
His memory will live on in the lessons he taught and the love he gave so freely. He will be deeply missed.
