Terre Haute, IN - Shirley R. Zablo, 86, of Terre Haute passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2026 in Springhill Village. She was born November 5, 1939 in Terre Haute to James Russell Lowe and Mary Juanita Hargett Lowe.

Survivors include her siblings, Gregory Lowe and Linda Lowe; grandchildren, Lailah Burris, Dalton Burris, Zayne Czupryn, and Camden Burris; step-children Craig Zablo (Doralya), Brent Zablo (Trish), Jill Shaw (Bobby), and Holly Gonzaga (Gerardo); and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Zablo; her parents; son, Matt Burris; and siblings, Russell (Kurt) Lowe, Larry Lowe, Delores Gulla, and Joan Miller.

Shirley was a member of First Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 22, 2026 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street, with Mark Grayless officiating. Visitation will be prior to services from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday. Entombment will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Terre Haute Humane Society.
