Brazil, Indiana - BRAZIL - Sharon Faye Eldridge, 81, of Brazil, Indiana, passed away peacefully, while staying at Wellbrooke of Westfield, on August 28, 2025, following a battle with Alzheimer's.

Sharon was born on August 31, 1943, in Terre Haute, Indiana, the daughter of Noah and Jessie (Bolin) Whitehead. She graduated from Brazil High School with the class of 1961.

Sharon worked for Columbia House as a Customer Service Representative for many years.

Sharon enjoyed dancing, singing, camping, and spending time with her family and friends. She was a longtime member of Brazil First Christian Church and the Terre Haute Saddle Club.

She was preceded in death by her parents Noah and Jessie Whitehead; her husband Larry Wayne Eldridge; and siblings: Charles Whitehead, Thomas Whitehead, Amy Whalon, and Ernest Whitehead.

She is survived by her daughter Lanna Santos and her husband Julio, as well as many extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be at French Funeral Home, 421 E. National Ave., Brazil, IN 47834, on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, from 4:00-6:00 PM. Services will be at the funeral home, on Thursday, at 10:00 AM with Pastor Mark Grayless officiating. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery.
