Shannan Hudson, 61, of Jasonville, IN passed away at 2:10 P.M. Monday, February 6, 2023 in her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born July 27, 1961 in Terre Haute, IN to Charles Gilbert "Chic" Hudson and Phyllis Elaine (Fougerousse) Hudson.

Survivors include her parents, Chic and Elaine Hudson of Jasonville, IN; siblings, Joe Hudson (Linda) of Terre Haute, IN, Doug Hudson (Margie) of Jasonville, IN, Mike Hudson (Laura) of Akron, OH, Pat Hudson of Jasonville, IN, Lee Hudson (Michelle) of Jasonville, IN, Ann Hudson of MO, and Nikee Hudson of Jasonville, IN; and several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

Shannan graduated from Shakamak High School. She then attended Indiana State University receiving a 4-year degree. Shannan served in the Air Force Reserves for 26½ years. She worked for the Department of Homeland Security US Customs and Border Patrol Office of Facilities and Asset Management Budget Division as Budget Director. Shannan attended and was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Jasonville. She enjoyed traveling, gardening and reading. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them.

Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, IN. Visitation is scheduled from 5 to 8 P.M. Friday, February 10, 2023 at the funeral home. Services are 11 A.M. Saturday, February 11, 2023 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Jasonville with Father Suresh Bakka officiating.

Interment will be at Peavey Cemetery in Howesville, IN with Military Graveside Rites.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Shannan to Hapiness Bag, 3833 Union Road, Terre Haute, IN 47802. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
