Scott Aaron Lintzenich, formerly of Marshall, IL, passed away Friday. Oct. 13, 2023 in Festus, MO following a courageous battle of cancer.

He was born at Terre Haute, IN on Feb. 3, 1970, the son of Edwin and Lois Lintz- enich. During his younger years he was very active in scouting and various activities at Marshall High School where he graduated in 1988.

Following his graduation from high school he received a Master's Degree in Astrophysics and went to work for the U.S. Army as a computer specialist in New Jersey for three years.

Following that he then transferred to Chicago where he worked for the U.S. Marshalls Service, when he met the love of his life, Suanne Elaine Hartigan. They were married in 1999 and were the parents of two sons, Zachary and Kyle.

Surviving are his wife; his two sons and his parents.

A memorial mass will be celebrated Wednesday, Nov. 8, at St. Mary's Catholic Church at Marshall with Rev. Augustine Koomson officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery in Marshall. Friends will be received after 12 noon Wednesday at the church.
