Scott S. Liggett Obituary
Scott S. Liggett, 48, of Terre Haute, IN passed away at 1:21 AM Friday, July 14, 2023 in the emergency room of Union Hospital at Terre Haute, IN. Prior to his illness he was a driver for MLS Trucking and had previously driven for Littlejohn Grain.
Scott was born June 21, 1975 at Charleston, IL, the son of Dale Layto and Carolyn Jean Davis Liggett.
On April 26, 2000 he was married to Jo Pennington at Marshall, IL and she survives; as well as his mother, Jean Liggett of Terre Haute. He was preceded in death by his father.
He was an avid bowler, but some of the best times of his life were spent on his Harley.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM (Central) Saturday, July 22, 2023 at Pearce Funeral Home in Marshall. The family will receive visitors from 12 noon until service time.
