TERRE HAUTE - Sandra Irene King was born on 5 April 1940 and traveled home on 18 April 2022, from Union Hospital.

Sandy was preceded by Vern Black (father); Margaret Black (mother); brothers Vern (Jr.) Black, Robert Black, and Steven Black; sister Susan Owens; stepson Perry Whitecotton; and granddaughter Trish Taylor.

Sandra was survived by sister Vivian Davidson; sons Lawrence (Larry) and Cindy Whitecotton, Brian Keith and Angi Whitecotton, and Robert Whitecotton, and Peggy and Clay Skinner; grandchildren Jason and Shana Whitecotton, Sandy Whitecotton, Danielle Baze, Taylor and Kathleen Whitecotton, Katie Serna, Joey Bricker, Christopher Bricker, Brandon Whitecotton, Melissa Jenkins, Duane Dearwester, Aaron Fields, Logan Fields, Teddy Shafer, Tammie Sharp, and Catherie Adams; and great-grandchildren Genesis Baze, Ezra Baze, Bellami Baze, Loxley Baze, Paxton Whitecotton, Myles Whitecotton, Carlos Serna, Bryce Jenkins Kyleen Whitecotton, Kaleb Whitecotton, and Emma Whitecotton.

Sandy lived and worked in Terre Haute most of her life working as a waitress, receptionist, and factory worker in many of the factories of the area. Sandy was a caring and loving lady who worked very hard to help everyone she could.
