Sandra Ball Obituary

Sandra Jane (Beckwith) Ball Bevis, 72, of Brazil, Indiana, went to be with the Lord on June 27, 2019. She was born on December 20, 1946, in Westfield, Massachusetts, to Harold M. Beckwith and Donelle Jane (Scott) Beckwith.

Sandy enthusiastically dedicated her life to serving others through a career in nursing. She earned her RN degree in 1968 and actively practiced her profession for the benefit of others throughout her life. Her most recent service was with the Hamilton Center in Terre Haute, Indiana, before retiring in 2011. An energetic and loving wife and mother, she loved vacationing along the beaches of North Carolina, enjoying time with her children and grandchildren, and working outdoors in her yard and garden.

She was preceded in death by her parents, as well as a former husband and decorated Air Force veteran, John T. Ball. She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Jerrold Bevis of Brazil, Indiana; and sons, David and Daniel Ball of North Carolina and Arizona, respectively; as well as stepchildren, Tony Bevis of Center Point, Indiana, John Bevis of Bourbonnais, Illinois, Laura Liddle of Greencastle, Indiana, and Michael Bevis of Terre Haute, Indiana; and numerous grandchildren.

Sandra's cremation was entrusted to Moore Funeral Home. Condolences may be expressed at:
