Russell L. "Rusty" Riggen of Clinton, Indiana, age 57, died at 2:22 A.M. December 11, 2020, in Clinton.

He was born April 23, 1963, in Clinton, to Larry Riggen Sr. and Mary Ann Pognant Riggen.

He was employed by Geon in Terre Haute, Indiana, and was a member of First United Presbyterian Church in Clinton. He was a 1981 graduate of South Vermillion High School.

Rusty was preceded in death by his grandparents; uncles, Donald Riggen, Earl Riggen, Victor Riggen, Bob Williams, John Pognant and Joe Pognant; and aunts, Janet Riggen, Lulu Mae Riggen, Dora LaRosa, Marie Meadows and Sharon Riggen.

Survivors include his parents, Larry Riggen Sr. and Mary Ann Riggen of Clinton; 3 brothers, Larry Riggen Jr. (Beverly) of Avon, Indiana, Tim Riggen Sr. of Covington, Indiana, and Randy Riggen (Vicky) of Hillsdale, Indiana; several nieces and nephews, Matthew, Tim Jr., Aaron, Jerimiah, Dwight and Gretchen Riggen; 5 aunts, Pat Williams of Riley, Indiana, Sally (Ted) Harpold of Montezuma, Indiana, Jeanette Riggen of Mooresville, Indiana, and Michelene Pognant of Chicago, Illinois, 2 uncles, Carl Riggen of Cayuga, Indiana, and Elmer (Julia) Riggen of Clinton; and several cousins.

Realizing that Rusty had many friends, but due to the current COVID-19 pandemic and following CDC guidelines and the state of Indiana mandate a private visitation for immediate family and invited guests will be held for Rusty. Reverend Cheryl Montgomery will officate. Graveside services will be conducted at Walnut Grove Cemetery, Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at 3:30 PM which is open to the public. Masks and social distancing will be respectfully asked for the visitors at the funeral home or graveside services. The family will be hosting a celebration of life ceremony in the future when it is safe for social gatherings to occur. (Date will be announced.)
