TERRE HAUTE - Ruby Lucille Brown, 92, of Terre Haute, passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at Signature Healthcare. She was born on August 23, 1928 in Vigo County to Claude Jonathan and Vera Goldie (Apple) Wiles.
Ruby is survived by her children, Flora, George and wife Margaret, Janice and husband Fred, Tom and wife Liz, and Karen, all of Terre Haute; stepchildren, Robert and Mary; sisters, Blanche, Daisy, Annabelle, and Helen; brothers, James and Michael; fourteen grandchildren; thirty-six great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George Brown, Sr.; sisters, Mary, Vanetta Darlene, and Mary Grace; and brothers, Harold, Bill, and Alonzo.
Ruby worked for many years at St. Anthony's and retired from Union Hospital. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and spending time with her family.
