Terre Haute - Roy Thomas McQueen, 93, of Terre Haute, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 in Union Hospital.
Roy was born May 28, 1932 in Coon Rap- ids, Iowa to Thomas McQueen and Evelyn Busen McQueen. He was a member of the United States Air Force and retired from Woodburn Printing.
Roy was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Deborah Samuels; and his wife Deloris Campbell who passed away February 2017.
He is survived by a son, Bryan McQueen of Terre Haute; and a daughter, Tammy McQueen of Indianapolis; a son-in-law, Tim Samuels of Brazil, IN; grandchildren: Stephanie Wilson (Nate), Brandon Samuels (Tiffany), Trenton Rowe, Landon Carpenter, and Aaron Carpenter; and several great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, September 3, 2025 at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
The family suggests in lieu of flowers that contributions be made to Terre Haute Humane Society, 1811 Fruitridge Ave., Terre Haute, IN 47803.
