Rosemary A. Brown, age 76 of Paris, Illinois, passed away at 12:36 p.m. Monday, September 21, 2020 in Paris Healthcare Center in Paris.
In keeping with federal mandates due to COVID-19 pandemic, everyone is asked to be patient and abide by the state regulation of 25 visitors with masks allowed inside the funeral home. Everyone is welcome, but we ask that you keep your visit short so that all who wish to pay their respects will be able to do so. Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
She was a business woman and a farm owner. Rosemary was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church in Paris, the Poets Study Club of Terre Haute, Indiana, the Indiana State Federation of Poetry Club, and the National Federation of State Poetry Societies.
Rosemary was born October 21, 1943 Tulsa, Oklahoma, the daughter of the late Albert August and Evangeline Trabant Sager. She married Larry Allen Brown January 15, 1983 at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Marshall, Illinois, and he passed away February 25, 2020.
She is survived by her four stepdaughters: Melissa Renee Brown, Jessica Rae Brown, Ann Marie Sanabria and Ceceilia Lynn Chedid all of Phoenix, Arizona; and sister-in-law: Nancy Foote of Paris, Illinois.
Rosemary is preceded in death by her brothers-in-law: Howard Eugene Brown, Russell Atwood Brown, James Irving Brown, Paul Edward Brown and Alonzo Patty Brown Jr.; and sisters-in-law: Lelah Bernadine Alexander and Marian Theodosia Radcliff.
A visitation will be from 12:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 with funeral services following at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home in Paris, Illinois. Burial will be at Edgar Cemetery, in Paris, Illinois.
Memorials may be made to Otterbein United Methodist Church in Paris, Illinois.
