Sullivan, Indiana - Rose Marie Kemper Schultheis Gates, 79, of Sullivan, IN went to be with the Lord Monday, November 3, 2025.
She was born in Indianapolis, IN November 28, 1945, the daughter of the late Howard H. Kemper and M. Pauline Pressley.
She was preceded in death by her parents; also her husband, Dwight M. Gates; and two daughters, Beth Ann Schultheis and Susan R. Gates.
Survivors include a son, Pete Rock Schultheis of Sullivan, IN; two daughters, Dawn M. Turk and Kathy L. Long; a stepdaughter, Pamela Howland, all of Indianapolis, IN; a sister, Patricia A. Wetzel of Pigeon Forge, TN; 9 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren; and a sister in-law, Marilyn J. Newcomb of McKinney, Texas.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Friday, November, 7, 2025 at Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan, IN. Visitation will be Thursday, November 6, 2025 at Brust Funeral Home from 4:00PM until 8:00PM. Burial will follow in the Holy Cross Cemetery in Indianapolis.
