TERRE HAUTE - Ronald Alan Hamilton, 57, of Terre Haute, passed away on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at his home. He was born on April 17, 1965, in Terre Haute to Carl and Ruth (Deckard) Hamilton.

Ron is survived by his mother, Ruth Hamilton of Brazil; sister, Debbie Fields (Bob) of Brazil; brothers, Bill Hamilton and Chuck Hamilton of Terre Haute; longtime companion, Bonnie Hooper of Terre Haute; stepdaughters, Sarah Park, Sandra Wilson, and Shelly Boyed; and several step-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father.

Ron was a 1983 graduate of Terre Haute North Vigo High School. He worked for over 35 years in automotive supply sales at Napa. He was a longtime, active member of the Murdock Auto Racing Club. He was an avid Colts fan and enjoyed watching NASCAR. In his spare time, he enjoyed going golfing and riding his Harley. Ron loved to cook out on the grill and spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, September 8 at Mattox-Wood Funeral Home. A funeral ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, September 9 at Mattox-Wood Funeral Home.
