Robert James Archer, 42, of Terre Haute, died Thursday, November 30, 2017 at Terre Haute Regional Hospital. His life was taken suddenly from his family through an act of violence.

Robert was born on January 30, 1975, to Barbara J. Pfister and Robert L. Archer in Santa Ana, CA.

Robert is a Veteran of the United States Air Force where he served as Military Police with the Special Ops Forces and received many honors. Robert was survived by his Mother, Barbara J. Pfister, Father Robert L. Archer, Sister Kimberly A. Archer, Many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and beloved Friends. His beloved childhood friends from Oklahoma City were like his family and were deeply loved by Robert.

He was an avid sports fan who loved Oklahoma University Sooner Football. He played league Football after High School. Robert was also an avid artist. He was a talented drawer who loved to draw things that were meaningful to him such as cars and military graphics.

Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. December 7, 2017 at St. Benedict's Parish, 111 S. 9th St. Terre Haute, IN 47807.

Funeral services will be 12:05 p.m. December 7, 2017 at St. Benedict's Parish, 111 S. 9th St. Terre Haute, IN 47807, with Father Martin officiating.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Veterans Organization: Reach Services at 1400 Hulman St., Terre Haute, IN 47802.

His Mom, Dad, Sister, Aunts, Uncles, many Cousins, and Friends will miss him terribly. We love you, always will.
