Judy, I'm so sorry to hear about Dick's passing. You and your family are in my thoughts. I really enjoyed all of the times my mom, dad and I spent with you and Dick during trap shooting and golfing events and love the memories. I'm sure my mom had a hug for him. We can have a little comfort knowing they're watching over us. Love and hugs to you!

I wish to Thank Everyone for the kindness and respect and love our Family has been shown. Those who knew Dick knew he loved life, gave it its all and in death braved it thru to the end. Later he chose to chose his course to the very end. He was a finisher, measuring and figuring it out.
His stories will live that is for sure!
Loved him dearly. Always will.

Dick was a great guy. I knew him from shooting at Terre Haute Sporting Clays, and over the past few years really enjoyed getting to know him. He led a full life, and was greatly admired, even by folks like me, who only knew him for a short time. Rest in Peace, Friend.

Dear Deanna and family - I am so sorry to read of your dad’s passing. Also, I’m saddened that I have only learned of this at 8:45 pm this evening. You are all on my mind and in my thoughts and prayers.

We became friends first, and soon after we became brothers. For 25 years we spent parts of every weekend together shooting trap. We played golf and fished in between. I am forever blessed through the incredible friendship and brotherhood that came our way. And today my world is diminished by his passing but forever enriched with the wonderful memories. Rest easy friend and save me spot on the squad above with Jerry......

I always enjoyed Dick and his many stories. Those of us that shot with him at Terre Haute and many other clubs will miss him greatly. One of the good ones.
