Rockville, Indiana - ROCKVILLE - Rachel Brading, 80, of Rockville, Indiana, passed away at 1:50 am Sunday, August 9, 2020 at Whitlock Place in Crawfordsville. She was a homemaker. She was born March 28, 1940 in Clinton, Indiana, to the late Homer Thomas Smiley and Olive Weaver Smiley.

Her husband of 55 years, Ezekiel "Zeke" Brading, whom she married August 21, 1959, passed away April 5, 2015. Survivors include one daughter, Shelly (Rusty) Akers of Rockville; one son, Tom (Debbie) Brading of Rockville; two sisters, Phyllis Twitchell of Oro Valley, Arizona, and Rebecca Porter of Covington; and four grandchildren, Ross Akers, Devin Akers, Brad (Kim) Suiters and Katie Suiters.

She was a 1958 graduate of Rockville High School and attended Indiana Business College in Indianapolis. She was a member of the Marshall Baptist Church, playing the piano many years for services.

Graveside services will be 11:00 am Tuesday, August 11, at Memory Garden Cemetery, Rockville, with the Rev. Bill Dawson officiating. Burial will follow.
