Paris, Illinois - PARIS, Ill. - Phillip Ray McConchie, 78, of Paris, Illinois, died Monday, October 14, 2019. He was retired from the Illinois Department of Corrections and the Paris Fire Department.

He was born March 28, 1941, in Paris, the son of the late Eldon "Slim" and Ina (Wilhoit) McConchie. He married Kay Bolen and she survives.

Other survivors include two children, Mark McConchie and Carla Sinclair, both of Paris; a brother, Gary McConchie; a sister, Deborah Conner; five grandchildren, Bobby Sinclair, Jessica Sinclair, Ashlee Sinclair, Levi McConchie, and Paige McConchie; two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and extended family members Tony and Heather Valinevicius and family. He was preceded in death by a sister, a brother, and an infant great-granddaughter.

Services are 10 a.m. CDT Saturday at Templeton Funeral Home, Paris. Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. Friday.
