Phillip D. Antholz, 82, of Terre Haute, IN passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at his home. He was a retired chemist for Cargill Products.
Phil was born Oct. 12, 1940 at Paris, IL, the son of Thomas and Virginia Hall Antholz.
Surviving are his wife, Geraldine Johnson Antholz; two stepchildren, Amy (Greg) Stephens of Terre Haute, IN and Scott (Selena) Withrow of Poland, IN; two step-grandchildren, Shaelee Stephens and Kenna Stephens; and several cousins.
He served this nation in the U.S. Army as a medical technician at South Houston Hospital in Texas. A 1959 graduate of Marshall High School, he later received his degree from Indiana State University. Phil truly enjoyed riding his motorcycle with his friends, target shooting and getting with the guys to shoot the breeze.
Private graveside services will be held at the Marshall Cemetery at Marshall, IL. For those desiring, memorial contributions should be directed to the animal shelter of the donor's choice. Online condolences are being accepted at:
