Paul W. Lambert Obituary

Valparaiso, Indiana - Paul W. Lambert, 72, formerly of Terre Haute, Indiana, was called home by his heavenly father January 23, 2026, after a short battle with cancer. His parents C. Wesley and Ernestine Lambert, and his second wife Debbie Macke preceded him in death.

Paul was born in East Lansing, Michigan, on August 10, 1953. He graduated from Schulte High School in 1971, and earned a bachelor's degree from ISU in Geology and a master's degree from IU in Environmental Management. His career as a geologist took him as far away as Borneo, Indonesia, and Tuscaloosa, Alabama, work, and project sites across North America. Paul's home life was filled most importantly with spending time with his large family and being active in and of service to his church. He stated active with bicycling, swimming, SCUBA diving, reading, and having and riding horses.

Paul is survived by his third wife Patriia Zappetillo of Valparaiso, Indiana, brother Kevin and Eileen Lambert of Albuquerque, New Mexico, sister Camille Lambert and David Randall of Terre Haute, Indiana, daughter Courtney and Rob Hassing of Kent, Ohio, son Geoffery Lambert of South Bend, Indiana, daughter Casey and Sam Maynard of Iowa City, seven stepchildren, eleven grandchildren and two nephews. Paul will be missed by many!
