Rockville, Indiana - ROCKVILLE [mdash] Patty Berry, 83, of Rockville, Indiana passed away at 4:23 p.m. Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at Mill Pond Health Campus in Greencastle. She was a legal secretary for McFadden Law Office, John Kenley and John Asbury and retired from the United States Postal Service.

She was born March 17, 1936 in Newport, Indiana to the late John Moore and Katherine Grubbs Moore. Her husband of 65 years, Marvin Dale Berry, whom she married May 29, 1954 preceded her in death July 30, 2019.

Survivors include six sons, Rodney (Adele) Berry, Mike Berry, Doug (Sue) Berry, Dwayne (Chico) Berry, Terry Berry and Tom (Karen) Berry, all of Rockville; two sisters, Betty Palm of Brazil and Marjorie (Jim) Knott of Waveland; 12 grandchildren, Terran (Nick) Williams, Jennifer (Kyle) Kersey, Michelle Berry, J.D. (Megan) Berry, Rodney Berry Jr., Anna (Tony) Lorenze, Blake Berry, Megan (Bruce) Rehmel, Levi (Rachel) Berry, Alexis (Jeff) Degano, Danielle Wilson and Ryan Wilson; 14 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was a graduate and the 1954 Salutatorian of Newport High School. She enjoyed watching events the kids participated in at school and all of their sporting events.

Services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 14 at Gooch Funeral Home, 112 W. Howard Street, Rockville, with the Rev. Greg Robbins officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Garden Cemetery, Rockville. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Friday at Gooch Funeral Home.
