Ocala, Florida - Patrick James Barnes passed away Aug. 17, 2025.
He was born Oct. 29, 1944, and lived in Terre Haute.
He leaves behind a daughter, Jennifer Lankston of Danville, Ind.; and three grandchildren, Nick, Addie and Connor.
Patrick was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Violet Barnes.
He worked at the Tribune-Star newspaper for 34 years, and served in the military for over 30 years.
He had resided in in Ocala, Fla., since 2004.
