Norma J. Lewis, 88, of Marshall, IL passed away at 2:36 PM Monday, February 7, 2022 in the Casey Health Care Center at Casey, IL. Norma was born August 30, 1933 at Shelbyville, IL, the daughter of Frank Leonard and Bertha Alice Fore Belskamper.

On Feb. 2, 1952 she married Frederick W. Lewis Jr. at West Terre Haute, IN and he preceded her in death on April 5, 2010.

Surviving are their three children, David (Joyce) Lewis of Marshall, IL, Marsha (Steve) Bennett of New Castle, IN, Sharon (Mark) Blankenbaker of Martinsville, IL and Gary Lewis of Marshall, IL; eight grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, John E. Belskamper and Bob Belskamper; and a sister, Joanne Simmons.

As long as her health permitted, Norma was a faithful member of the Blue Grass Church of God of Martinsville, IL. In her earlier years she enjoyed bowling and going on bowling league trips. She was a graduate of Concannon High School at West Terre Haute. One of her greatest joys was attending the activities her grandchildren were participating.

Services in honor of her life will be 11:00 AM Friday at Pearce Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Hollensbe officiating. Burial will be in the Marshall Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior services at the funeral home on Friday. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to the Marshall Cemetery Association.
