Nelda M. Gilbert, 80, of Chrisman, IL, passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2023.
She was born in Terre Haute, IN on September 6, 1942, to Wilburn Myers and Bessie Mae Cox Myers.
Nelda was preceded in death by her parents Wilburn and Bessie, her daughter Hazel Griffin, and several brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her daughters Nelda Wrenn of Navarre, FL, and Shelly Larriba of Terre Haute; her sons William Gilbert (Amy Long) of Hillsdale and Dean Gilbert (Amanda) of Kansas, IL; her brother Loren Myers (Marie) of Rockville; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be at Brown-Mack Funeral Home on Friday January 27, 2023, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Service to begin at 1:00 PM with Rev. Keith McIntyre officiating and burial to follow at Hixon Cemetery in Mecca.
