Terre Haute, IN - TERRE HAUTE [mdash] Molly Ann Wasson, 58, of Terre Haute passed away on Friday, May 29, 2026, at Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care surrounded by her family.

She was born on August 2, 1967, in Sullivan, Indiana to Robert Moody and Stella Ferguson Moody. Molly was a very dedicated and passionate caregiver.

After graduating from Sullivan High School, she obtained her bachelor's degree from Indiana State University in sociology. Molly decided very quickly to go back to Indiana State University for her bachelor's in Nursing. She then went on to attend Indiana Wesleyan University for her master's degree for Nurse Practitioner. Molly also earned her Psychological Nurse Practitioner certification from South College. She had a deep love for schooling and continuing her education, with a 35-year career in Nursing.

Molly worked tirelessly helping many people. She loved being with her family and she loved animals. Molly's beautiful smile and caring nature will be missed by so many. She was strong in her faith and attended Libertyville Church of Christ.

She is survived by her loving husband, Kevin Monroe Wasson whom she married on April 29, 2004; children Nikki Irene Wasson and Mark Monroe Wasson; mother Stella Moody; stepsons Craig Allen Wasson and Cody Mitchell Wasson; and her dog Xari; as well as many friends, colleagues, and extended family. Molly was preceded in death by her father, Robert Moody; infant brother Brandon Moody; and daughters Rachael Marie Ring and Carlie Alene Ring; as well as her four-legged companion for 20 years, Siamese cat Hodji.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 5, 2026, at DeBaun Springhill Chapel from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Service will begin at the funeral home at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Mark Strahm officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in remembrance of Molly may be made to the Terre Haute Humane Society.Online condolences may be made to:
