Terre Haute, Indiana - Michelle Lynn Hopkins ("Shelly Bell")

It is with infinite sadness that we bid farewell to our beloved Michelle Lynn Hopkins, lovingly known to many as "Shelly Bell."

Michelle possessed a gentle heart, a contagious laugh, and a beautiful spirit that left an enduring impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her. Gifted in both art and music, she expressed herself with remarkable creativity and grace. Her beautiful singing voice, artistic talent, warm smile, and compassionate nature brought comfort, joy, and love to countless family members and friends. Her memory will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Above all, Michelle loved her family deeply. Her greatest joy was her beloved daughter, Taylor. She also cherished her mother, Patricia Hopkins; her sister, Kimberlee Freeman and husband, Jim; her brother, David Hopkins and wife, Mary Ann; and her five nephews, Peyton, Devon, Rycon, Alex, and Eric. She also leaves behind many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends whose lives were enriched by knowing her.

Michelle will be remembered for the kindness she shared, the laughter she inspired, the beauty she created through her artistic talents, and the love she so freely gave to those around her. Her gentle spirit, generous heart, and enduring love for her family will remain a cherished part of all whose lives she touched.

As a Christian family, we find comfort in God's promises and place our hope in His unfailing love and mercy. We trust that Michelle now rests in the loving presence of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, where sorrow, pain, and suffering have given way to everlasting peace. Though our hearts are broken by her absence, we find strength in Christ's promise that those who believe in Him shall have eternal life.

Michelle's laughter will echo forever in our hearts. Her love will remain a treasured gift, her memory a lasting blessing, and her life will forever remind us that even the gentlest souls can leave the deepest footprints upon the hearts of those they love.
