ROCKVILLE - Marylou Harmon, 86, of Rockville, died at 7:28 a.m. Tuesday, July 26, 2016, in her residence. She was retired from the parts department of Flock Implement, Inc. in Rockville. She was born June 12, 1930, in Clinton, to the late Carson Lee Flock and Flora Elizabeth Trimble Flock.

Her husband of 52 years, John L. Harmon, whom she married Dec. 31, 1948, in Terre Haute, died Feb. 2, 2001.

Survivors include one daughter, Sharilyn Greene of Rockville; two sons, Rodney (Jackie) Harmon and Lanny (Kelly) Harmon, all of Nashville, Ind.; one brother, David Flock of California; one sister, Martha Cornelison of Terre Haute; five grandchildren, Todd Harmon of Indianapolis, Amber Harmon of Chicago, Jody Greene of Rockville, Bailey Harmon of Bloomington and Wyatt Harmon of Nashville; two great-grandchildren; 14 nieces and 12 nephews.

She also was preceded in death by three infant sisters, Judith Ann, Laura Alice and Kathryn Flock; additional siblings, John Allen Flock, Sue Emma Flock Finan, Charles William Flock, Robert Joseph Flock, Nancy Eva Flock Lewis, Sarijane Flock Teague, Patricia Lee Flock Leonard and Thomas Eugene Flock.

She was a 1948 graduate of Bloomingdale High School. She was a member of Bloomingdale Friends Meeting Church and attended the Nyesville Full Gospel Fellowship Church. She was a member of the American Legion Fellenzer Post 48 Auxiliary and was an avid bingo player.

Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Friday, July 29, 2016, at Gooch Funeral Home, 112 W. Howard St., with Pastor Gene Walls officiating. Inurnment will follow at Memory Garden Cemetery. Memorial visitation is from 4 to 7 p.m. today. Friends may sign on online guest register at:
