Rockville, Indiana - Mary Ethel Wrightsman, 88, of Rockville, Ind., passed away at 1:04 a.m. Friday, December 27, 2019 at Bickford Memory Care in Crawfordsville.

She retired after more than 40 years of service with the Parke State Bank in Rockville as assistant vice president. She also served as assistant cashier.

She was born June 6, 1931 in Sugar Creek township, Parke County, Indiana to the late Roy Floyd and Maxine Brown Floyd. Her husband of 55 years, John William Wrightsman whom she married February 15, 1952 in Crawfordsville passed away February 7, 2008.

Survivors include one son, John M. (Pam) Wrightsman of Rockville; two grandchildren, Roy William (Lisa) Wrightsman of Rockville and Abby Marie (Cody) Wrightsman Hunter of Selma, Indiana; four great-grandchildren, Jackson and Elliot Wrightsman, Riley and Reagan Hunter. She attended Grange Corner Grade School and graduated from Marshall High School.

She was employed by a movie theater in Danville, Ill., Bell Telephone Company in Terre Haute and Grab-It-Here grocery in Rockville. She was a member of Judson Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading, flowers, kittens and gardening.

Services will be 1 pm Monday, December 30, at Gooch Funeral Home, 112 W. Howard St., Rockville, with the Rev. David Wise officiating. Burial will follow at Poplar Grove Cemetery in Marshall.
