BLOOMINGDALE - Mary Lou Busenbark, 86, of Bloomingdale, Indiana, passed away at 1:08 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 27, 2018, at Clinton Gardens. She was a homemaker and worked for General Electric in Danville, Illinois.

She was born Oct. 30, 1932, in Newport, Indiana, to the late John Franklin Burroughs and Ruby Zora Mathas Burroughs.

Her husband of 61 years, Arthur "Pinky" Busenbark, whom she married March 9, 1957, in Rockville, preceded her in death Oct. 7, 2018. Survivors include two sons, Jack Dean (Sally Elder) Busenbark of Montezuma and Gene Alan Busenbark; one brother, Jack D. Burroughs of Newport; two granddaughters, Brooke (Caleb) Nickels and Erin Sykes; two great-grandchildren, Talor Sykes and Carmen Marie Sykes; and several nieces and nephews.

She was a member of Linbarger Chapel United Methodist Church, Red Hat Society, and West Union Flower and Garden Club.

Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 2, at Gooch Funeral Home, 112 W. Howard St., Rockville, with Pastor Leon Myers officiating. Burial will follow at Thomas Cemetery, Newport. Visitation is 2 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at Gooch Funeral Home. Online condolences may be shared at:
