JASONVILLE - Mary Frances (Barbee) Burris, 78, of Jasonville, IN passed away at 6:51 P.M. Tuesday, February 8, 2022 in Union Hospital at Terre Haute, IN.

She was born December 10, 1943. in Terre Haute, IN to Herman Leroy Barbee and Mary Frances (Matherly) Barbee.

Survivors include her children, Ramona K. Fougerousse of Coal City, IN, Scott Wayne Burris of Jasonville, IN; grandchildren, Elizabeth Long (J.D.), Emily Gwaltney, Logan Burris, Kaycee Burris; siblings, Sarah Switzer of West Terre Haute, IN, Bertha Julian (Mike) of Terre Haute, IN, John Barbee of Jasonville, IN, Tom Barbee of Jasonville, IN, Joe Barbee (Karen) of Jasonville, IN; lifelong partner, Jim Matteson of Hymera, IN.

She was preceded in death by her parents; twins; brother, Herman and Betty Barbee; brother-in-law, Harry Switzer.

Mary graduated Jasonville High School Class of 1961. She worked for Walmart for 35 years. She enjoyed fishing and boating. Mary had attended several churches.

Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home, 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, IN. Visitation is scheduled from 10 A.M. to 1 P.M. Saturday, February 12, 2022 at the funeral home. Services are immediately following at 1 P.M. with Pastor Mike Rotman officiating.

Interment will be at Peavey Cemetery in Howesville, IN.
