Marsha Britton Bialaszewski Obituary

Terre Haute, Indiana - TERRE HAUTE - Marsha Britton Bialaszewski, born October 19, 1947, passed away on August 23 after a long life faithfully awaiting the day she would meet Jesus. She will be remembered and celebrated by family and friends at Bible Baptist Church on Saturday, September 13.

Marsha was a force for kindness, positivity, and service throughout her life. A devoted Christian, she loved serving in any church she attended and recently especially enjoyed serving in the King's Kids ministry at church, where she helped young children learn and treasure Bible verses. She lived her faith daily, always choosing to see the bright side and lifting the spirits of those around her.

In 1998, Marsha married Dennis Bialaszewski. Together they shared many happy years filled with laughter, travel, adventures, and companionship. Their union brought her the joy of becoming a bonus mother to Dennis's daughter, Jessica, whom she cherished. They shared a a love of racing horses, raising them together for several years. Marsha and Dennis also shared a passion for sports, cheering enthusiastically for the Indiana Pacers, the Colts, and ISU football and basketball. Marsha continued to be an avid fan after losing Dennis. Whether at a game, a family gathering, or a church service, her bright smile and love for life were unmatched.

Marsha was a lifelong teacher, both in and outside of her profession. She dedicated her career to working with elementary and special needs children at schools in Ohio and Terre Haute, and she treasured her time at St. Mary-of-the-Woods and as a teaching assistant at ISU before retiring. She believed every child had potential and delighted in helping them discover it.

Family was at the center of Marsha's life. She was a devoted daughter to Joseph and Dorothy Britton, who pre-deceased her. She was a wonderful sister to her two brothers and a fun, loving aunt to a wide circle of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews. She will be remembered for her laughter, warmth, and her requests for her favorite meal - her mom's classic dinner of meatloaf, mac 'n cheese, and green beans - lovingly prepared by her younger brother, Jon.

She will be dearly missed by family and friends who are grateful for the joy, kindness, and unwavering positivity she shared so freely.

Marsha is survived by two brothers Joseph (Karen) Britton and Jon (Tracy) Britton. She is also survived by a gaggle of nieces and nephews: Jason (Sherri) Britton, Jamie (Clint) Britton Blanck, Josh Britton, Jessica (Eli) Loftus, Kassie (Jake) Gunn, Kara (Joe) Randall, Kaleb (Amanda) Britton and Kody Britton.
