Marilyn Sue Fenton Obituary
TERRE HAUTE - Marilyn Sue Jackson Fenton loved family, friends, writing poetry, and sketching. Her willingness to give to others contributed to the lives of many. She was one of the most giving people you ever would want to meet. She would want you to know her work here on earth is done. She has received a call, something she could not refuse and something from which she will not be returning. This assignment comes with a bonus; a reunion with family and friends in the presence of Jesus Christ. We will miss her like no other: our hero, our best friend, our mother. We love her.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 20 years, William L. Fenton; her son, Ryan Dean; her parents, Frank and Ruth Jackson; her brothers, Bob Jackson and Loren "Pudge" Jackson; sister, Betty Jane (Jim) Spendal; and her nieces, Sharry Daniels and Debbie Jackson. She is survived by her son, William (Cristi) Fenton Jr.; her daughter, Dawn (Mark) McBride; grandsons, Matthew (Elizabeth) McBride, Sean (Jessica) McBride and Jackson Fenton; granddaughter, Jena Fenton; seven great-grandchildren, Izzy, Reger, Dolly, Ryan, Liam, Camden, and Rowan; sister, Kathy (Ken) Brown; sisters-in-law, Kathy (Ron) Shaffer, Mary Ann (Don) Weiland and Doris Jackson; and many nieces and nephews, friends, and her little dog Muffy.
The family will be gathering for a graveside service in honor of Marilyn at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Clinton, Indiana at 10:00 AM, on January 21, 2022. In lieu of flowers, please perform an act of kindness and allow that same kindness that she gave to you be spread onto others.
