Marcie G. Niece, 71, of Fontanet, passed away Monday, Jan. 16, 2017, at her residence. Marcy was born in Terre Haute, on Nov. 15, 1945, the daughter of the late Jack and Catherine (Garlock) Wyatt.
She was a floral designer with Diana's Flowers for many years.
Mrs. Niece was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Alex.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years and high school sweetheart, Larry A. Niece; children, Robin (Hubert) Kraemer and Brian (Leslie) Niece; siblings, sister and brother-in-law, James and Leann Royse, Steve Wyatt, Janice Greene, Jacqi Trowbridge, David Wyatt and Mike Sparks; grandchildren, Neil, Chad, Abby, Emily, and Daniel; and four great-grandchildren.
A memorial celebration of life will be on Jan. 28, 2017, at 1 p.m. at Higher Ground Christian Center, 8983 East Rio Grande Ave., with Kenny Tilford officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Simple Cremations and Burials.
