Terre Haute, Indiana - TERRE HAUTE - Lori Kay Higgenbotham, 53, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away at her home, unexpectedly, on December 21, 2025.

Lori was born on May 24, 1972, in Danville, Illinois, the daughter of William and Jacquelyn (Murray) Higgenbotham. She was a 1990 graduate of Northview High School and attended Indiana State University. She has worked for Logan's Ribeye for more than 20 years and Western Ribeye for several years prior. When she wasn't working, Lori enjoyed shopping. She was the best mom to her children Lizzy and Jimmy and her dog Toby.

Lori was preceded in death by her father William Higgenbotham; grandparents: Roseann and Karl Goodwin and William and Marjorie Higgenbotham.

Survivors include her son James "Jimmy" Stephens III (Tomi), daughter Elizabeth Kay "Lizzy" Logan; mother: Jacquelyn "Jacque"; fiancé Robert Scott Logan; brothers: Brian Higgenbotham (Melissa) and Terry "T.J." Higgenbotham (Beth); stepdaughter Ashley Logan; nieces: Brooke Snyder (Jamie), Mackenzie Higgenbotham (Blake Andrews), and Macey Higgenbotham; as well as many extended family members and friends.

Services will be at Lawson-Miller Chapel, 1702 E. National Ave., Brazil, IN 47834, on Saturday, December 27, 2025, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Services will begin at 1:00 with burial to follow at Forest Hill Cemetery in Greencastle, Indiana.
