Lois Dell Miller Obituary

Lois Dell Miller, 98, of Hillsdale, passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2019, at Clinton Gardens with her family at her side.

She was born August 20, 1920, in Vermillion County, to Bartholomew and Della Self McCarty.

She was a lifetime resident of Hillsdale and was formerly a beautician.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Glen Miller; a son, Jack Miller; a daughter,

Patsy Servies; a brother, Charles McCarty; a sister, June Dinkel; a son-in-law, Louis Eugene Brooks; and a grandson, Douglas Brooks.

Survivors include her daughter, Joan Brooks of Montezuma; a son, Don Miller of Fairview; a daughter-in-law, Rita Miller of Hillsdale; and grandchildren, Caitlin Thoma, Denise Akers, Brian George, Kirby Miller, Gregory Brooks, Kristi (Paul) Johnson, Kari (Ricky) Hammond, Darrel Brooks and Terry Brooks.

Visitation will be on Monday, April 29, 2019, from 1 pm to 2 p.m. at Brown-Mack Funeral Home in Montezuma. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Keith McIntyre officiating. Burial will follow at Helts Prairie Cemetery in Hillsdale.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the American Cancer Society in memory of Lois Dell Miller. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
