Rockville, Indiana - ROCKVILLE - Lois Jane Beatty, 70, of Rockville, Indiana, passed away at 4:47 p.m. Thursday, July 25, 2019, at her residence.

She was a retired silk screen printer for Sony/DADC in Terre Haute with 28 years of service.

She was born September 14, 1948, in Terre Haute, Indiana, to the late Charles Edward Padgett and Mildred Wittick Padgett.

Her husband, Carl E. Beatty, whom she married August 14, 2004, passed away August 18, 2015. Survivors include one son, Rob (Holly) Goggins of Lancaster, South Carolina; two daughters, Andrea (Doug) Gordon of Rockville and Teresa Martin of Rockville; two brothers, Ted Padgett of Naperville, Illinois, and George Padgett of Terre Haute; two sisters, Sue Willman of Terre Haute and Beth Cartwright of Indianapolis; seven grandchildren, Kaitlyn (Tyler) Morgan, Zach and Haley Goggins, Megan and Kyle Gordon, and Carter and Kenley Martin; one great-granddaughter, Ryleigh Morgan; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Grace Akers and Irma Keith.

She was a graduate of Gerstmeyer High School in Terre Haute. She was always caring for others.

Services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 31, at Gooch Funeral Home, 112 W. Howard Street, Rockville, with Hope Jeffers officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Garden Cemetery, Rockville. Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Gooch Funeral Home. Online condolences may be shared at:
