ROCKVILLE - Libby Ann Newman, age 62, of Rockville passed away on Saturday, October 23, 2021. Libby was born September 17, 1959 in Terre Haute to Allen W. Newman and Mary L. McClain Newman.

A very caring person, Libby never met a stranger and always considered you as a friend.

She enjoyed watching Duck Dynasty, especially Uncle Si, and Emergency. Elvis was her favorite musician, and Libby had a vast collection of Hot Wheels and stuffed animals.

Libby's favorite foods were fried potatoes, hot dogs, onions and creamy peanut butter. Libby looked forward to attending the Covered Bridge Festival each year.

She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant brother Danny Gene Newman; and brother-in-law Jay Sullivan.

Surviving are her special friend Bill Lusk; her siblings, Martha Sullivan, and Doug Newman and wife Sherry; six nephews; many great-nieces and nephews; her Brazil House Family; and the many friends that she has met throughout her life.

Please join Libby's family for a celebration of her life on Thursday, October 28, 2021 at 1 P.M. at Mattox-Wood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Thursday. Inter- ment will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
