Larry Marietta (82) of Bridgeton Indiana passed away at 11:56 AM, April 9, 2023, at I.U. Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born November 24, 1940, in Terre Haute to Alfred and Edith Hoke Marietta. He retired from A.E.T as a purchasing and receiving agent and is a farmer in Parke County, Indiana. A member of St. Joseph Catholic Church - Rockville, Indiana. He married Roberta Smith on May 9, 2009. He was preceded in death by is parents, a brother; Alfred Marietta "Jr.", (1998), and his sister; LaVerne Bullock (2018). He is survived by his wife, Roberta of Bridgeton. Four sons; Mark (Cindi) Marietta of Rockville, David (Dawn) Marietta of Rockville, Michael Marietta of Ft. Wayne, and Steve, (Yvette) of Alabama. Four daughters; Suzi (Mark) Unger of Terre Haute, Dianne (Jimmy) Alstatt of Brownsburg, Lorna May of Bloomington, and Tammy Humphrey of Terre Haute. Also, twenty grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Joseph Church - Rockville, Friday April 14, 2023, at 11:15 AM with visiting hours from 10:00 AM until service time at 11:15 AM at St. Joseph Church. A visitation will be held at Giovanini Funeral Home - Clinton Thursday evening, April 13, 2023, from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Terre Haute. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or Parke-Vermillion Humane Society, with envelopes available at the funeral home.
