Larry Wayne "Cupcake" Ervin, 69, of Clinton, died Monday, May 9, 2016, at his residence. He was born Nov. 16, 1946, in Warsaw, to Orville J. Ervin and Francis (Young) Ervin.
He was a baker. He enjoyed baking, clowning and, volunteering at the Clinton Food Pantry. His clown name was "Cupcake". Larry was a United States Air Force veteran.
He married his late wife, Janice Ray (Adams) Ervin on March 23, 1992, and they were married as clowns. He is survived by his children, Thomas (Mary) Ervin and Larry Ervin Jr., all of Terre Haute, and Tammy (Eric) Cegielski of Marshall; stepchildren, Lynette ( Ron) McClure of Terre Haute and Adam Ray (Michelle) Bunton of Indianapolis; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
