Larry L. Copeland Obituary

Larry L. Copeland, 79, of Clay City, IN passed away at 1:20 P.M. Saturday, April 1, 2023 in Shakamak Retirement Community in Jasonville, IN surrounded by his loving family.

He was born April 5, 1943 in Terre Haute, IN to Delbert Copeland and Mary (McKee) Copeland.

Survivors include his children, Larry Copeland (Jennifer) of California, Lisa Weir (Vance) of Hymera, IN; grandchildren, Taylor, Matthew, Emma, Jackson, Tara, Jessica; great-grandchildren, Tayln, Rylee, Nevaeh, Ella; siblings, Helen Budd of Lewis, IN, Alice Fry of Clay City, IN, Leon Copeland of Lewis, IN, Rick Copeland (Aldan) of Lewis, IN, Terri Koho of Terre Haute, IN, Debbie Cottom (Donny) of Lewis, IN; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Larry loved spending time with his grandkids. He worked at the Grain Elevator in Clay City and enjoyed fishing.

Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home, 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, IN. Visitation is scheduled from 5 to 7 P.M. Monday at the funeral home with a Celebration of Life at 7 P.M. In keeping with Larry's wishes cremation will be scheduled.

Interment of his ashes will be at Stephens Cemetery in Lewis, IN at a later date.
