SPEEDWAY - L. Leon Foltz, 92, of Speedway, IN, died on Tuesday, October 22, 2019. Born February 16, 1927, he was the son of Paul and Hazel Walther Foltz of rural Clinton in Vermilion County, IN, who preceded him in death.

Survivors include two daughters, Debra (Dyke) Wilson of Zionsville, IN, and Martha Ann (Robert) Lofland of Indianapolis; three grandchildren, Devon Wilson (Ben) Lawson of Jersey City, NJ, Daley (Meredith) Wilson-Rarus of Chicago, IL, and Robbie Lofland of Indianapolis; and one great-grandson, August Lawson of Jersey City, NJ. Also surviving are a sister-in-law, Barbara Foltz of Clinton, IN; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Freda; as well as four brothers, Kenneth (Esther), Dale (Dorothy), Donald (Jean) and Max Foltz; and one sister, Eleanor (Jack) Murray, all of Clinton, IN.

For those who wish, the family suggests that memorials be made to Zionsville United Methodist Church.

Visitation will be Saturday, October 26, at Zionsville United Methodist Church, 9644 Whitestown Road, Zionsville, IN, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. (Indiana time). Services will be at 11:00 a.m. following visitation. Visitation will continue at Templeton Funeral Home in Paris, IL, from 2:00 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. (Illinois time), followed by burial at Edgar Cemetery 3:00 p.m. Military rites will be conducted by Paris American Legion Post #211.
