Kenneth "Kenny" Ray Weir, 78, of Hymera, IN passed away at 3:20 a.m. Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at Clinton Gardens in Clinton, IN.

He was born March 11, 1946 in Vigo County, IN to Frank Weir and Marie (Hubbard) Weir.

Kenny married Sandy E. (Cromer) Weir on April 8, 1972, she passed away on June 2, 2008.

Survivors include his daughters, Karen Nickless (Eric) of Coal City, IN, Pennie Hunt (Clint) of Shelburn, IN; grandchildren, Oaklee Nickless (fiance, Blaise King) Kegan Hunt (Caitlin), Tucker Hunt, Gabe Hunt, Zeck Hunt; siblings, Donald Weir (Cindy) of West Terre Haute, IN, Jack Weir (Naomi) of Terre Haute, Rick Weir of IL, Pete Weir (Darlene) of West Terre Haute, IN, Carolyn Huff (Mike) of Evansville, IN, Charlie Weir of Terre Haute, IN.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and grandson, Jessie Hunt., siblings Paul Eugene Weir, Virgil Earl Weir, James Melton Weir, Debra (Susie) Sue, Barbara Jean Phelps.

Kenny graduated from West Vigo High School. He was a US Army Veteran. Kenny liked going to yard sales and enjoyed being outdoors and working in the yard. He was a very simple man. Before his wife passed she led him to the Lord. Kenny loved his family and spending time with them. He attended the First Baptist Church in Shelburn, IN.

Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. In keeping with Kenny's wishes, cremation is scheduled, there will be a Graveside Service at 1 P.M. Saturday, March 15, 2025 at Bethesda Cemetery in West Terre Haute, IN with Pastor Ben Wetherington officiating, with Military Honors.
