Keith H. Burkett, 56, of Jasonville, IN passed away at 8:20 P.M. Wednesday, March 30, 2022 in his home in Jasonville.

He was born July 4, 1965 in Linton, IN to Billy Harrison Burkett and Cynthia Ellen (Anderson) Slater.

Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Tammy Burkett of Jasonvile, IN who he married on October 19, 1991; children, Cynthia Shannon Cornett (Chase) of Paxton, IL, Dalton Coy Burkett of Mequon, WA; grandson, Elijah James Cornett; siblings, Peggy Johnson (Rick) of Jasonville, IN, David Burkett (Dixie) of Jasonville, IN, Gary Burkett (Lisa) of Princeton, IN; nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; nephew, Derek Fulford; paternal grandparents; maternal grandparents.

Keith graduated Shakamak High School. He had worked at a Futaba factory in Vincennes and had been a convenience store manager for Speedway and Country Porch. He was a member of Jasonville Assembly of God Church, also Sullivan Moose Lodge #2517 and Jasonville Sons of the American Legion Post #172.

Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, IN. Visitation is scheduled from noon to 2 P.M. Monday, April 4, 2022 at the funeral home. Services will immediately follow with Pastor Sam Bush officiating. There will be a family dinner served at the Assembly of God Church following the committal service; any who wish to attend are asked to contact Tammy for a count for the meal.

Interment will be at Peavey Cemetery in Howesville, IN.
